I have a fairly strong Google link. I use everything Google and love it. But how far is too far? I have only recently discovered Google Maps and have to say wow - what a great app add on. But I do worry where all this is leading us...or have I been reading to many Robert Ludlum books...

I am generally unaccustomed to blogging concepts and business philosophy but I have been thinking lately if I couldn't define the role of General Web Management and Internet Strategy in to four or five key areas:

1: Web analytics and reporting
2: Design - Look and Feel
3: Usability (inc. on-site optimisation)
4: Publishing - RSS/Aggregation/Channels/Feeds
5: Search Optimisation (SEO)

If there was a sixth it would be:

6: Marketing - offsite/onsite inc Search

But this is mainly concerned with build not promotion.
