What is it? If you are new to the world of computers you might be a little anxious about getting started. Whilst MESH strive to make setting up your computer as easy as possible, with clear instructions and manuals, we realise this is sometimes not enough.

We can now provide a service called HomeStart to help you through those tricky stages. We will send a fully qualified engineer to your home to help set up your equipment. Our engineer will spend an hour with you, putting together the system, explaining and demonstrating on the way.

They will also give you some basic training in using your chosen operating system. You'll save time and be up and running with nothing to confuse you. The engineer's check list includes:-

• Unpacking and connecting the PC & peripherals.
• Powering up the PC and 'running-up' the OS.
• Configuring the OS with required user profiles.
• Configuring for internet/email.
• Setting up TV card (if installed) & installing peripherals.
• Providing 'power-up' demo and basic Q/A.

An hour should be sufficient to get your confidence up.

When is it available? HomeStart is available during office hours 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

What does it cost? £99 (inc.VAT)

Installation of equipment and/or software not purchased from MESH computers plc is not included in HomeStart.
